Last month Sony Ericsson finally brought the Xperia Ray to the US
as an unlocked device compatible with AT&T. The price started
around $424, but now it can be bought as low as $328 at Amazon. The
specs are far from jaw dropping, but if you consider the price is a full
retail with no contracts, it’s not a bad buy.
It features a 3.3-inch (854 x 480) screen, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. The highlight is the 8.1MP camera that supposedly performs well in low light situations. It also sports a VGA front facing camera for your video chatting needs.
Those of you that don’t like contracts, but like a sleek compact phone are going to love the Xperia Ray. We will do a more in depth review soon, but for now checkout the initial hands review on below.
